Rakihuri - Ashley River (Taylor p. 29) Trip with Capt Thomas in Fly landed Port Cooper 15 Dec 1848. Fox spent 2 weeks exploring then went to Otago. Returned to P Cooper 22 Jan, and to P Nicholson, 23 Jan 1849.
