Label by Dr B.H. Howard: Duppa's Allington. The house has long since disappeared, but the name is still used by the present. The site is on the Highway from Nelson to the Buller just before it crosses the Wairoa River. national Highway No 6. Half-mile before the right turn into Bridgewater.
